The Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) is a validated, self-reported brief emotional and behavioral screening questionnaire for children and young people. The parent and teacher SDQ can be completed by the parent or teacher of CYP aged between 2 and 17 years old. The SDQ asks about five key topics: emotional symptoms, conduct problems, hyperactivity, peer relationships, and prosocial behavior. The SDQ is typically used for clinical assessment, outcomes evaluation, research, and screening, and takes around 5-10 minutes to complete.
