RAAPS (Rapid Adolescent Prevention Screening) are validated screening tools designed to detect risk behaviors among youth. RAAPS assesses topics such as eating and weight, physical activity, safety, tobacco use, alcohol and drug use, emotions, development, and friends and family. The RAAPS screeners also include Health Message resource navigation at the end of the tool to provide respondents with strengths-based feedback. In addition to in-tool support, the RAAPS tool is designed with brief intervention and rapid triaging in mind so that counseling support can be provided.
