General Anxiety Disorder 2 – 7 (GAD 2-7)

Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7 is a self-reported questionnaire for screening and severity measuring of generalized anxiety disorder. GAD-7 has seven items, which measure severity of various signs of GAD according to reported response categories with assigned points. GAD-7 has been validated among wide demographic ranges in primary care settings. The GAD-2 is a shorter version of GAD-7 which asks only the first two questions of the screener; Tickit’s version can use branching to proceed to the next five questions if a respondent is indicating signs of anxiety. The GAD-2 screener works well as an initial screen for further follow up.
