The Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST-10) is a 10-item brief screening tool that can be self-administered in less than eight minutes. Each question in the screener requires a yes or no answer to questions about drug use in the past year (not including alcohol or tobacco use.) DAST-10 can be used with older youth and adults and can be used as a rapid screener among larger populations for both early intervention and treatment evaluation research.
