Check Yourself

Based on motivational interviewing, a technique to mobilize personal change, Check Yourself is an evidence-based screener designed to promote healthy choices for the multiple behaviors relevant to adolescents. It is an interactive psychosocial behavioral change tool for youth with feedback, health promotion and goal setting. This survey is offered with cultural sensitivity including a school based version.

Check Yourself was developed in collaboration with Seattle Children’s Research Institute and has been deployed in over 55 high schools and middle schools with over 10,000 submissions.
