The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) surveys were developed as a way of measuring patient experiences with their health care providers. CAHPS surveys address topics including provider communication effectiveness, helpfulness of staff, and access to care. Each of these topics is important in measuring patient experience and patient satisfaction, and can be useful measures for provider effectiveness.
Tickit’s CAHPS surveys are proven to elicit more data and better data and, in one instance, helped a clinic secure government funding. The Silver Avenue Family Health Center in San Francisco saw a 79% increase in survey completion and improved disclosure rates with their population. Read the case study here.
