Physician entrepreneurs make up nearly half of StartUp Health’s latest class
Tickit Health’s Sandy Whitehouse is part of the physician entrepreneur class trained in care management, improving healthcare literacy, patient navigation and personalized medicine. Dr. Sandy Whitehouse has served as medical director of the ER at BC Children’s Hospital and is a clinical associate professor at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Whitehouse started TickitHealth with the vision to include patients in their own care and communicate customized feedback and lifestyle tips before their doctor’s appointment to make patient-doctor interactions more meaningful.
