We’re a paper, pen and fax machine based health system, and we’re part of the 300 health start-ups currently in the working at MaRS,digital innovation hub in Toronto, Canada. Around 200 of those startups are for digital health. Macleans featured Tickit as one of Toronto’s innovative healthcare technology companies as part of the feature. The article outlines web-based platform Tickit, which allows patients to upload their medical information onscreen in the language of their choice—using pictures when needed—which is then translated automatically for others.
