TORONTO (September 24, 2019): Seventeen organizations from across Canada were recognized this evening for creating innovative IT solutions and services that help organizations thrive.

The 2019 CDN Channel Innovation Awards (CIA) celebrated projects ranging from a public safety data portal that improves efficiency and transparency, to a program that takes IT assets that are no longer needed by one company and turns them into good-as-new technology for others.

“The Channel is changing incredibly quickly and only the companies that stay innovative will survive. By showcasing and celebrating the most original solutions in the country, we are hoping to inspire other companies to up their game,” said ITWC President & CMO Fawn Annan.

Tickit Health won the diamond award in the category of Diversity and Inclusion, which recognizes Tickit Health as an organization that excels in providing unique service and solutions to help solve diversity and inclusion challenges. This award demonstrates Tickit Health’s commitment to equity, inclusion, social responsibility and a record of acting on that commitment. Clear Concepts, a leading IT company in Canada providing comprehensive IT services, won the Gold award in the same category.

In addition to the awards, the gala included a workshop by tech analyst IDC Canada, a live innovation podcast led by thought leader Valarie Fox and plenty of networking. More than 200 people attended the event in Vaughan. Event sponsors included: Ingram Micro, Dell Technologies, ViewSonic, Centreon, Samsung and VMware.
